Regional Voice Theatre presents:

‘The Life and Times of the Tat Man’

By David Calcutt

‘The Life and Times of the Tat Man’ has been on tour for three years. This excellently performed, emotionally moving one man show was funded through Arts Council England. It has been on tour ever since.

The play was written by David Calcutt and it is performed by actor and musician, Tony Barrett. The director is Glen Buglass.

The play is set in the Tat Man's home in his scrapyard where he weaves his tales transporting the audience out of the theatre to places in his mind. The plot leads inexorably into the real and terrifying landscape of the First World War.

Audiences have been captivated at every performance.

'Great show! Tony Barrett is an amazing performer. A brilliant and charismatic actor who captures an audience under his spell. If you're in two minds about going, don't - Just go. You'll be talking about it for ages afterwards. I am!'

Jocelyne C. Thompson

'If you haven't seen this play do! I can guarantee you will ride an emotional rollercoaster. You will laugh, sing and cry and leave on a high. I love it.'

Now here's a thought ......

An option for promotors and venue managers is to take both shows: 'The Flaky Tarts' and 'The Life and Times of the Tat Man' and put them on over two consecutive evenings .......

We bring everything required for the performances. We carry a touring lighting rig, backdrops, set and sound equipment and can (and have) turned any sized space into a theatre. All we need is a plug socket or two. Full printed publicity and press pack is provided.
